Movie 24: Water for Elephants

I'm always nervous when I see a movie too close to finishing the book, but this one was pretty good. It followed the story pretty well, and was beautifully filmed.

Book 21: Water for Elephants

I was really excited to see this movie, and then I heard that it was based on a book—I immediately went to Amazon and ordered it.

At first I didn't think I'd have enough time to read it—between work, going to the gym, and finals—but once I started I couldn't put it down!

This one is definitely worth a read...

Movie 23: Black Swan

Black Swan wasn't quite what I expected, but it wasn't bad. It was pretty intense, so I'll have to wait a few days before really knowing how I feel about it.

Book 20: Love Walked In

It's been a rough semester, so I haven't had a lot of time to read for pleasure, but I finally finished Love Walked In this weekend. It was absolutely wonderful!

This was the first book in the series, though I'm kinda glad I read it second because it was just as enjoyable to get the back-story after I'd read Belong To Me.

Marisa De Los Santos has a great, easy writing style...I'd recommend these books to anyone.

I read online somewhere that Sarah Jessica Parker liked the books so much that she's supporting/producing a movie based on the book(s), so keep an eye out!

Movie 22: Despicable Me

This one was cute, too. I knew it would be!

I'm doing a lot of catching up this weekend—on to Black Swan tomorrow!

Movie 21: An Education

I loved this movie! I wish I'd seen it sooner.

Movie 20: The Kite Runner

I really enjoyed the movie, though I'm glad I waited a while after reading the book because I think it would have been disappointed if the story was still fresh in my mind.

* Note: I've decided that since I don't have as much time to go to movies while I'm in school, I'm going to count the ones I see on DVD that I wanted to see in the theater.
