So, last night I learned to crochet! I've been wanting to learn for a while, but it wasn't until I saw this great afghan that Tasha was working on that I got really interested. I usually prefer how knit stitches look, but this blanket is just too cute.First, I learned the single crochet stitch, and then moved on to the double. I practiced each of these for several rows until I was comfortable with the movements and then it was on to the real deal: the granny square!
Unlike knitting, this blanket won't be made in traditional rows—it begins in the center with a granny square and expands outward. I'll be sure to post my progress as I go!
